That hairy thing in between my legs is Jaycee. She has to be in the big middle of everything I do. (Look at my dirty foot!! Ick!! I don't like shoes!!)

Gotta love Fall!! We've spent almost every spare minute working outside this past week enjoying the awesome Fall weather. We had a pumpkin carving party with some of our friends this weekend. Fun!! Fun!!

I hope the weather in heaven is Fallish!!! We've spent alot of time outside these past few days working on some projects. It has been beautiful.

My sweet hubby & the boys just left to go paintballin, so I have the house all to myself!! I lit 3 of my favorite candles & have the back door open. The birds outside & my canaries inside are just tweeting away!! Such a sweet & peaceful sound. Enjoy your day!!

Touch of Fall!!

I'm loving this cooler Fall weather!! Only 2 more work days this week!! Our school is out Thursday & Friday for Fall Break!!

I'm hoping for some "great" inspiration, so I can get some projects done!! If I don't make my *To Do List* too long I won't be disapointed if I don't get much accomplished!!

Looking Good!!!

When I got home from work on Friday my sweet hubby had started this nifty project!! We had a low spot on our little sidewalk & when it rained sludge collected & made a slippery spot. After a few close calls & some pretty awesome skid markes; my hubby decided to glue some brick pavers on the low spot. That was a "great" idea, but it looked a little unfinished next to the plain old concret on either side of the pavers. So, being the creative fellow that he is, he sponged a faux brick design. I touched it up with some brickish looking colors & voila~~We've got this "cute" brickish looking sidewalk!!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

I can't believe it is already Oct. 1st!! It's still a little too hot for me to go in the attic & get out the halloween decorations. I'm hoping for a cool front to bring me some fallish weather to get me in the mood!! I did buy 2 pumpkins & a bag of gourds at Sams this afternoon. Maybe I'll get inspired later this week! Here is one last plant pic!!

Lazy Weekend!!

This past week was pretty stressful:( I won't go into any details!! We all need to take a lesson from our pets, they seem to take life as it comes & for the most part keep a sunny disposition!! Bert doesn't let much ruffle his furry feathers!! I took note from him & have enjoyed a lazy weekend!!

~~Cinnamon Apples~~

One of my favorite desserts to make is cinnamon apples!! It is soooo simple. Core, peel and slice a bunch of apples. I use one of those Pampered Chef apple gadgets!! It works great!! Put some butter in a skillet, dump the apples in add some cinnamon & sugar. (I use Splenda)

Cook until the apples are tender. Top with some cool whip or ice cream!!

Daisy is trying to figure out what is in the birdhouse cage!!Critters are one of my ~many~ weaknesses & hobbies!! We had been birdless for over a year. Well, not anymore!! My sweet hubby got me 2 Canaries last weekend. They are such a pretty color!!

My wonderful hubby has many hobbies & tending our Koi pond is one of them!! I love the sound of the water running. A few of our fish are at least 10 years old. Enjoy your weekend!!

Four day work week!!!!!

I enjoyed the restful three day weekend & now I'm enjoying the four day work week!! Time always flys when you're having fun!! Speaking of flies, they have been very pesky around here lately!! I better sign off, gotta fold some laundry!!

Ready for cooler days!!

I am so ready for some much needed cooler Fall weather. We went to the High School football game Friday night. It was NOT football weather. But, the Huskies won, so a little sweat was worth it!! I just came in from watering my plants & it is so nice outside. To bad I have so many inside chores to do!! Chery:)

Garden Table!!

This has been a lazy holiday weekend!! I love having 3 days off in a row, but i've watched way to much Lifetime TV. It can be really addictive!!

Nothing Very Special!!
